Visit Dorset is the Destination Management Organisation for Dorset, helping to support and grow Dorset’s visitor economy. Visit Dorset is funded by Dorset Council and is supported by over 500 paying business members.

Our key aims are to promote Dorset as a world class destination to attract visitors year round and support the local economy and tourism industry through marketing, PR and strategic partnerships. The team manage the visit-dorset.com website which is recognised as Dorset’s official visitor website and receives 2 million visits a year. Visit Dorset has a very active social media presence across all platforms and works closely with VisitEngland as well as national and international press and media to ensure that Dorset competes as a leading UK tourism destination.
