Sponsors & Partners
Brittany Ferries is a maritime company born out of a will to connect the coastal regions of North-Western Europe - developing trade and tourism amongst the destinations we serve.
Founded in 1972 by Breton farmers wanting to export cauliflowers and artichokes, our distinct origins have developed into a major transport network linking UK, France, Spain and Ireland as well as a significant in house tour operation. But the principles of regional economic development, social enterprise with long-term commitment, are still central to our vision today and for the future.
In the current season Brittany Ferries is operating seven cruise ferries, two économie ships (both chartered) one high speed craft and one freight-only (also chartered). The proposition is one of a premium but affordable service offering customers a choice of more convenient and relaxing journeys in pleasant surroundings.
By sailing to and from ports further west (including Plymouth and Poole), there can be savings in both driving time and distance compared to other surface travel options for many travellers. The onboard experience offers attentive service and style with high quality dining, boutique shopping, elegant bars and lounges, with a choice of well-appointed cabins on most routes.
If you're planning a trip to the Jurassic Coast, then taking the Jurassic Coaster bus service will ensure that you make the most of this uniquely picturesque coast line.

But don’t just take our word for it, here’s what two leading travel writers say: "In my experience, budget cutbacks and staff reductions are making it harder for journalists to write about travel in the UK- unless local PR operations step into the breach. On two recent visits, I found A Head for PR to be a vital conduit with hotels and major attractions,” Jeremy Gates, Press Association. And from Susan Hill, "I have worked with Jane on a number of travel pieces that have featured in the Daily Star Sunday and as a PR she is always willing to go the extra mile and her background in journalism means she understands exactly what's required."
And from a client: “In the last 6 months we have reached over 10 million people nationwide with PR coverage …. within weeks of developing this campaign we had coverage in national magazines, newspapers and most importantly, local and national TV coverage with the BBC, ITV and the Good Food Channel!” Sue Wiles, Visit South Devon.

The Resort Dorset magazine has provided many millions of people with quality visitor information. Resort 2017 is the 26th annual tourist magazine to be published in the county. Distributed through more than 1,200 venues, its 200,000 circulation makes it very effective for advertisers.
Starting out with the Resort magazine in Weymouth in 1992, Resort Marketing was quick to identify the internet as a tourism publishing medium, and, as early as 1996, published one of the first online visitor guides in the south.
It is not surprising therefore that whilst still publishing successfully in print, the business today provides its customers with an ‘all inclusive’ approach to their tourism marketing requirements.
In 2017 advertisers benefit from being featured on a new mobile responsive website at www.resortdorset.com, which drives both an iPhone and Android app, all of which can bring new business direct to their door. Resort Dorset also operates on Facebook and Twitter for the benefit of advertisers and has a following on Facebook of over 34,000 fans.
